Warchief of the Horde during The Second War. He killed Warchief Blackhand — Rend Blackhand's father — on discovering that Gul'dan and the Shadow Council were the Horde's real masters, and executed the Council.
He led the Horde to the gates of Lordaeron and was broken at Blackrock Spire. He spent the internment years free and in hiding.
He died fighting beside Thrall in the campaign that founded the New Horde, and gave him the Doomhammer, which Thrall carries still.
