Ogres came to Azeroth with the orcish Horde through the Dark Portal, and stayed after it lost. Some remain allied to orcish remnants; most have gone feral and set up as bandits and warlords.
Ogre magi — often two-headed — are the exception: intelligent, spellcasting, and dangerous. The Gordunni in Feralas are the most organized.
