Continent: Eastern Kingdoms · Levels: 30–40 (tabletop 8–10) · Held by: Contested — Syndicate, ogres, and two dying garrisons
The birthplace of human civilization. Arathor was founded here, and Stromgarde Keep is the last of the seven kingdoms still holding its own ground — barely.
Prince Galen Trollbane commands a garrison fighting the Syndicate for the ruins of his own city and the Boulderfist ogres for everything else. Stromgarde has effectively left the Alliance; it was not invited back after The Second War and it has stopped asking.
Refuge Pointe (Alliance) and Hammerfall (Horde) glare at each other across the middle of the zone. Hammerfall's orcs are Dragonmaw remnants — the clan that chained Alexstrasza at Grim Batol — now reformed under Thrall, which not everyone believes.
