The Portal stands dormant — a stone arch with no light in it, watched from Nethergarde Keep by a garrison the Kirin Tor posted a generation ago and never rotated out. They have been waiting for something to come through for thirty years. Nothing has.
Demonic remnants infest the Tainted Scar: Razelikh the Defiler and his lieutenants, the Shadowsworn, and Lord Kazzak — a pit lord who is simply there, and who is beyond any reasonable party.
