Continent: Kalimdor · Levels: 48–55 (tabletop 14–16) · Held by: Nobody — corruption, satyrs, and the Shadow Council
Formerly a healthy part of Ashenvale. Then Archimonde died at Mount Hyjal just north of here and the demonic residue soaked into everything.
Jaedenar — the Shadow Council's major stronghold — sits beneath Shatter Scar Vale, where satyrs and warlocks work at something ongoing.
The Deadwood and Winterfall Furbolg have been corrupted. The Timbermaw Hold furbolg have not, and hold the tunnels, and do not trust anyone.
The Cenarion Circle maintains Emerald Sanctuaries — small, embattled outposts trying to cleanse the ground a few square yards at a time.
