After the fall of Quel'Thalas, Kael'thas Sunstrider renamed his people sin'dorei — children of blood — in memory of the dead, and led them in search of a cure for their arcane withdrawal. They went through the Dark Portal into Outland, where they have fallen in with Illidan Stormrage.
