Malfurion Stormrage's twin. Jealous of his brother, in love with Tyrande Whisperwind, and unwilling to live in a world without magic.
He betrayed the resistance to Sargeras during The War of the Ancients and was given his demonic sight. After The Sundering he secretly created a second Well of Eternity on Mount Hyjal, and Malfurion imprisoned him for ten thousand years.
Released during The Third War, he consumed the Skull of Gul'dan, became part-demon, and fled to Outland, where he now rules with Kael'thas Sunstrider and Lady Vashj.
