What It Actually Is
Thrall's Horde is not the Horde of the First and Second Wars. That Horde was a demonic weapon. This one is a coalition of the dispossessed:
| Member | Leader | Why They're Here |
|---|---|---|
| Orcs | Warchief Thrall | Freed from the blood curse, building a homeland |
| Tauren | Cairne Bloodhoof | Debt of honor — the orcs drove off the centaur |
| Darkspear Trolls | Vol'jin | Thrall's fleet saved them from extinction |
| Forsaken | Sylvanas Windrunner | Pure pragmatism on both sides |
Who You Can Play
Four peoples make up the Horde, and every one of them has a full page — history, leadership, current conflicts, and how they talk.
| Species | Status | Where You're From |
|---|---|---|
| Orcs | Core | Durotar. Free for four years, and everyone remembers what your fathers did. |
| Forsaken | Core | Tirisfal Glades. You died, you got your mind back, and nobody is comfortable about it. |
| Tauren | Core | Mulgore. You stopped walking four years ago and are still deciding how that feels. |
| Darkspear Trolls | Core | Durotar and the Echo Isles, which you want back. |
The One Exception
| Species | Status | The Story |
|---|---|---|
| Blood Elf | Demon Hunter only | You followed Kael'thas Sunstrider through the Dark Portal a year ago, Illidan trained you, and you were sent back alone for a reason you were told once and did not fully understand. |
Rare, By Arrangement Only
| Species | Status | The Story |
|---|---|---|
| Pandaren | Allowed | One traveller from a land nobody can find on a map. Neutral, and the Monk is open. |
| Worgen | Allowed | Already loose in Silverpine Forest and Duskwood thanks to Archmage Arugal. Play a victim, not a Gilnean — someone bitten who kept their mind. Belongs to neither side, which is a feature. |
| Goblin | By conversation | The Steamwheedle Cartel is neutral and sells to everybody. A goblin travelling with the Horde is plausible; a goblin loyal to it is not, yet. |

Ideology
Lok'tar ogar — victory or death, but with honor. Thrall's Horde values strength in service of the community, the elements as partners, and a homeland that cannot be taken away. It is genuinely trying to be better than its predecessor.
The Cracks
- The Burning Blade recruits orcs who miss demonic power
- Warlocks operate openly in Orgrimmar's Cleft of Shadow despite being nominally banned
- The Warsong in Ashenvale are cutting night elf forest faster than Thrall can justify
- The Dark Horde at Blackrock Spire never accepted him
- Magatha Grimtotem wants the tauren out
- The Royal Apothecary Society answers to Sylvanas and nobody else
