Continent: Eastern Kingdoms · Levels: 46–57 (tabletop 13–16) · Held by: Scourge, with Scarlet Crusade at Hearthglen
Where the plague began. Andorhal was the distribution point — Kel'Thuzad's Cult of the Damned poisoned the grain here and shipped it across Lordaeron. The lich Araj the Summoner holds the ruins now.
Hearthglen to the north is Scarlet Crusade-held, commanded by Highlord Taelan Fordring — son of the disgraced paladin Tirion Fordring — who is a genuinely good man slowly realizing what he's part of.
Caer Darrow in the south holds Scholomance, a necromantic academy in the old Barov crypts. It is recruiting, which is the part that frightens people.
Uther's Tomb stands in Sorrow Hill. Tirion Fordring cannot bring himself to visit it.
