Continent: Eastern Kingdoms · Levels: 53–60 (tabletop 16–18) · Held by: Scourge; Argent Dawn at Light's Hope
The Scourge's heartland on this continent, and the hardest zone in the Eastern Kingdoms.
Stratholme — the city Arthas Menethil culled with his own hands — is now split between Baron Rivendare's undead and the Scarlet Crusade's Bastion, both of whom hold half a burning ruin and neither of whom will leave.
Light's Hope Chapel is the Argent Dawn's seat: a small consecrated building the Scourge has attacked repeatedly and never taken. It is neutral ground for anyone who is bleeding.
Tirion Fordring lives alone in a hut in the eastern hills, exiled from the Order of the Silver Hand years ago for sparing an orc's life, drinking, and refusing to be the man everyone needs him to be.
