Human · Disgraced paladin; hermit · None · Eastern Plaguelands
One of the five founding knights of the Order of the Silver Hand. He was excommunicated and exiled years ago for a single act: he spared the life of an orc, Eitrigg, who had saved his — and refused to recant.
He lost his lands, his title, his order, and access to his son.
He now lives alone in a hut in the Eastern Plaguelands, drinking, surrounded by the Scourge, and refusing to be the man everyone needs him to be.
What They Want
- To be left alone — he says this, and it isn't true
- His son out of the Scarlet Crusade, alive
- The Silver Hand to have meant what he thought it meant
- To stop being angry, which he has not managed
Voice
- Speech: blunt, tired, occasionally very funny
- Tic: he deflects sincerity with sarcasm and it fools nobody
- Never says: Uther's name without pausing first
- When it matters: the paladin is still entirely there, and it is startling
