- Compassion — the two above, turned outward
The Church of the Holy Light teaches that by holding these truths, a person aligns themselves with the fundamental benevolence of creation, and creation answers. It heals. It burns undead. It has never once explained itself.
Institutions
- The Church of the Holy Light — Stormwind Cathedral, Northshire Abbey, the human heartland
- The Order of the Silver Hand — the paladin order founded by Uther the Lightbringer in the Second War. Shattered. Arthas disbanded it; Uther is dead; its survivors are scattered between the Argent Dawn and the Scarlet Crusade.
- Dwarven faith — Ironforge adopted the Light through Alliance contact; Dwarves make devout, pragmatic paladins
The Shadow
The Light's opposite is not evil — it is the Void, drawn on by shadow priests and warlocks. Forsaken and troll priests wield it openly. Human priests are taught both and warned about one.
