Continent: Kalimdor · Levels: 10–25 (tabletop 3–6) · Held by: The Horde, loosely
Kalimdor's spine — an enormous savanna that connects everything and is bigger than it has any right to be.
The Crossroads is the Horde's central waypoint and the most attacked settlement in the world, because it sits at the junction every Alliance raiding party passes through.
Ratchet on the east coast is a neutral Steamwheedle Cartel port — the gateway between Kalimdor and Booty Bay.
Northwatch Hold in the south is a Theramore garrison whose aggression Jaina Proudmoore does not fully control.
Beneath it all: Wailing Caverns.
